There are around 17 horses inside, they are all doing a wonderful job and will be ready to join us in the riding tours next summer. There has been a lot of wind here in Iceland these last days but that doesn’t seem to bother the horses, their thick winter coat looks really comfortable in this cold weather. The riding tours are finished, we had a wonderful summer with our guests and horses. We are already looking forward to next summer. The dates for 2014 long riding tours are here on the website under riding tours. 
Having fun in the riding tours
It is already August, the time is flying by when you are having fun. We are having a lot of fun in the riding tours with our guests and horses. Soon we will post the new dates for the summer 2014.
Riding tours
We are having fun with our horses and guest in the highlands. We have been on two riding tours already, had wonderful guests and the horses are doing a fantastic job. Tomorrow our 8 day Fjallabak ride starts and we are very much looking forward to start. 
Foals
There are three new born foals now at the Austvadsholt farm. They are adorable and we are looking forward getting to know them better. The summer has arrived with the foals, little lambs playing around, beautiful birds with their chicks in the meadows and soon we will be in the highlands riding around with our horses and having a lot of fun with our guests. 
Young horses
The training of the young horses is going really well. Some of them will be ready to work with us next summer in the riding tours and we are really looking forward to it. A wonderful photographer came to visit us last week and took some fantastic pictures of our horses. Here is one of them with the northern lights.

The 1th of February 16 young horses came inside. We are really enjoying working with them and they are learning fast.
