There are around 17 horses inside, they are all doing a wonderful job and will be ready to join us in the riding tours next summer. There has been a lot of wind here in Iceland these last days but that doesn’t seem to bother the horses, their thick winter coat looks really comfortable in this cold weather. On the picture is Skotta, one of our breeding mares with Hekla the volcano in the background.
The snow and the northern lights are here…
Autumn is here…
Having fun in the riding tours
Riding tours
Foals
There are three new born foals now at the Austvadsholt farm. They are adorable and we are looking forward getting to know them better. The summer has arrived with the foals, little lambs playing around, beautiful birds with their chicks in the meadows and soon we will be in the highlands riding around with our horses and having a lot of fun with our guests.
Young horses
The training of the young horses is going really well. Some of them will be ready to work with us next summer in the riding tours and we are really looking forward to it. A wonderful photographer came to visit us last week and took some fantastic pictures of our horses. Here is one of them with the northern lights.
